Deleting your data

Ledger is run by Vereon Ltd. Everything below can be done yourself, inside Ledger, and takes effect straight away. If you can't sign in, or you'd rather we did it for you, write to info@vereon.tech from the email address on the account and we'll do it within a month (usually within a few days). Your Ledger account

Sign in, open Your profile and press Delete my account. Your login, your profile and your connections to AI assistants are deleted, and every session is signed out. If you own a business that still has a team in it, hand it to one of them first (Settings → Danger zone → Transfer ownership) or close it.

A business and its books

The owner opens Settings → Danger zone and presses Close business. Every invoice, bill, payment, expense, customer, supplier, item, journal, file and report is deleted, along with the stock history, every connected app and every AI tool's access, and the subscription is cancelled. A business usually has to keep its books for years under its own tax law, so download the reports and invoices you need first: it can't be undone.

If a business that uses Ledger has your details

If you buy from or sell to a business that keeps its books on Ledger, that business holds your details as it entered them, and decides how they're used. Ask them to erase you: in Ledger the owner or an admin presses Erase their data on that customer's page, which removes their name, contact details, address and tax numbers, from their invoices and payments too, and keeps only the money records without a name, because the business must keep its books. The customer's old invoice links stop working. If the business doesn't answer, write to info@vereon.tech and we'll help.

Connected apps

A business that connected Register, Offr or Trazr can disconnect it in Settings → Connected apps: Ledger's access is deleted and the product is asked to revoke it, and what was already posted stays in the books until the business is closed. AI assistants connected in Settings → AI tools are removed with Disconnect.

Google

If you signed in with Google, deleting your Ledger account removes the link. Ledger keeps no Google token and has no access to your Gmail or Drive. You can also remove Ledger at any time from your Google Account → Security → Third-party connections.

Microsoft

If you signed in with Microsoft, deleting your Ledger account removes the link. Ledger keeps no Microsoft token and has no access to your mailbox or files. You can also remove Ledger at any time from your Microsoft account's privacy settings (account.microsoft.com → Privacy → Apps and services), or your organisation's admin can.

What we keep, and for how long

Billing records for Ledger subscriptions stay with Stripe for six years because tax law requires it. Backups and technical logs roll over within a short period, and deleted data leaves them as they do. Our privacy policy has the full list.
