Lesson 3 of 7 · 2 min

Sending an invoice: email, link and PDF

Email it from Ledger with its PDF and their own link, in the customer's language, or share the link yourself. And reminders.

  1. On an issued invoice, press Send. It goes to the customer's email (or another address you type), with your message if you add one, its PDF and its link, in the customer's own language: each customer's invoices and emails can be in English or Urdu, set on their details.
  2. Here's what they get. The button opens their invoice's own link, made for them alone: the PDF itself, no signing in.
  3. Rather send it on WhatsApp? Copy the customer's link from the invoice (it's under More too) and paste it in, or Download the PDF to attach or print. The figures are the same everywhere.
  4. Reminders are yours to switch on, in Settings → Invoices & emails: a polite email to the customer once an unpaid invoice is past its due date. Set Remind them to 7 days after, say (0 sends none), and nobody has to remember to chase.
